The end is near, which I guess is why Costco is selling out of
hoarder doomsday prepper emergency food kits.
Depending on your general feelings about cannibalism, how long you want to survive and how many people you want to keep around with you, you can buy a variety of “Nutristore” survival kits.
The four person kit sells for $8500.00 and promises to provide an average of 1,351 calories per person per day for a year.
Sure, you could survive off dog food but these kits are full of dried fruits and vegetables, rice, wheat, granola, even meats.
Freeze-dried hamburger, anyone?
The 230 1-gallon cans and 30 buckets of food will last for up to 30 years in storage, but where are you going to put them all??
Doomsday preppers might have to put an addition on the bunker
In light of recent events, or just a general sense of paranoia, the kits are selling out in the United States
But you can still stock up on other survival products – after all that weird canned food you’re going to need to use the washroom, so don’t forget the sanitation kit
Hoarding all of this stuff is fine, but if the zompocalypse happens couldn’t you break into the Costco’s storage and just steal cans of food?
Who’s in charge of remembering the can opener, and where’s the LIQUOR?
At this point there are more questions than answers.
