Do you take off your shoes in the house? What about when you’re a guest at someone else’s house?
Don Cherry went on a Twitter rant about it this week
grapes of wrath couldn’t be contained by a mere 140 characters, so he continued with this
As someone who ALWAYS takes their shoes off in the house, I don’t understand why someone would ruin their floors or carpets with dirty shoes, or assume someone else is okay with them tromping around in their poop-crusted shoes (we’ve all stepped in something terrible at one time or another.)
I started to wonder if maybe it’s a Canadian thing. Do Americans take off their shoes around the house?
We asked our American Correspondent…
Shoes vs. sandals vs. slippers could be one argument, but what about work boots? As someone with home renos currently underway, there’s nothing that drives me crazy more than contractors or installers who go up the stairs wearing dirty work boots!
I never thought I’d say this, but I’m with Don Cherry.
Take off your shoes!
