As we get ready for Canada’s 150th birthday The City of Kingston has some amazing activities going on all long weekend to celebrate the country’s big day!
On Friday June 30th enjoy live entertainment at the Sesqui Stage at City Hall from 5 pm -10:30 pm. At 10 pm Mayor Brian Paterson will light up city hall with a programmable lighting system that will have a Canadian theme.
On Canada Day (Saturday July 1st) the The Kingston Public Market will run from 6 am to 6 pm. The Limestone race starts at 9 am at Boucher Park. There will be wagon rides, inflatable games, from 1 pm to 6 pm.
Artfest Kingston goes throughout the Canada Day Long weekend at City Park from 10 am – 6 pm each day.
The Red and White People Parade starts at 11 am and wraps up at City Hall. The Civic Ceremony and Civic Awards start at 12 pm at City Hall. There will also be live music on Canada Day at City Hall from 1 pm to 10 pm.
At 10 pm The Canada Day Fireworks start. The best place to watch the fireworks are at Confederation Basin.
