We’ve all been there. You’re traveling solo. You’re going to be stuck on a train or plane for a few hours, and you anxiously wait to find out who you’re going to be sitting beside.
In your head, you’re thinking, “please, don’t let it be that toddler” or “anyone but that guy who’s coughing and sneezing on everyone”.
Solo travelers know all about seat roulette.
Who do you think is the worst person to be stuck beside on a plane or a train?
Smelly Steve? Chatty Cathy? Seat-kicking Kirk?
According to a survey by Kelton, holiday travelers have the most hate for “the smelly traveler”. 41% try to avoid someone who smells bad, either passing gas or not wearing deodorant.
30% say they try to avoid “the arguer”, while 17% say the “line cutter” is the worst.
