How many people do you know who have dropped their cell phone in a lake, river, bathtub or even in the toilet?
With the new iPhone 7, that won’t be a problem.
Apple claims the new smart phone, unveiled yesterday, is water and dust resistant.
I’m wondering if it’ll really work though! In my experience water-proof and water-resistant are VERY different things.
But here’s the clip from the news conference…
(Prediction – when the first few iPhone 7’s land in the hands of consumers, videos will surface of people trying out this “water-resistant” theory. I hope for their sake it turns out okay.)
The iPhone 7 will also feature some fancy upgrades to the camera to improve your photos and selfies.
Oh, and did you hear about the headphone jack?
The rumours are true. There won’t be one.
If you want to use your old headphones, you’ll have to use an adapter (which comes with the phone) to plug them into the Lightning port.
That port is also used for charging your phone, so you won’t be able to do both simultaneously.
BUT without the headphone jack, there is a room for another speaker.
You can also use these new little AirPods for your phone.
A lot of people are a concerned about one thing though… losing them.
