The City Of Kingston is looking to increase its parking revenues and is considering a few ideas, ranging from higher parking rates to extended payment hours.
They’re looking for public feedback about these 3 parking revenue-generating ideas:

Hourly parking rates increase by 25 cents in 2019, but parking meter payment periods extend by 3 hours per day. Parking reserve fund grows to $5.9 million by 2030.
Hourly parking rates increase by 25 cents in 2019, BUT the parking meter payment period is extended by 3 hours soon – in 2017.
September 15th is the deadline for public comment on the 3 parking rate ideas. Let ’em know what you think!
