Some people have terrible habits while driving.
For example, not using a turn signal or not checking a blind spot before changing lanes.
I’ve been known to rage a bit when I see people doing these things.
But nothing… not a single thing… makes me more frustrated than when people text while driving.
If I’m a passenger in a car and the driver decides to look at their phone while driving, I’m the kind of person who will grab if from their hand and throw it in the back seat.
It’s bad enough that you’re willing to risk your life, but if I’m in the car with you, you’re risking mine too.
Quebec’s Provincial Transport Minister Laurent Lessard wants stiffer laws against drivers who use mobile devices behind the wheel.
Lessard wants the Federal Government to make it a criminal offence in the case of death or injury, much like drunk driving.
