If you’re dumb enough to try and take a selfie with a wild animal, and that animal attacks you, you get what you deserve. That’s the word from the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment, who says they have to keep warning people in the area of Wascana Lake about a moose on the loose.
What’s the big deal? IT’S A WILD ANIMAL! While officials say the moose isn’t currently a threat, there are concerns it’ll go into “attack mode” if people get too close. As for the animal, no matter what happens, they’re not gonna kill it. Apparently, the “worst-case scenario” is that the moose would be tranquilized and moved to another area in its natural habitat.
That’s good news. I don’t know how many times I have heard or seen, due to human interaction – error – or whatever, animals are shot and killed for just doing what they are supposed to do as animals. WE need to respect our wildlife and understand that if you poke the bear….it may poke back.
