Hyundai’s Next Mobility Group is working on an “exoskeleton” to help people moving from point to point. They say it can be used for many occupations like soldier or warehouse worker. If we’re being honest when this hits the market we’re all just going to be battling like a bunch of UFC/cyborgs in the most badass way possible.
The technology looks to be based off of Hyundai’s H-LEX technology, which was originally created to help your grandpa wave his cane at younglings on his lawn. Now Hyundai has a little more girth and reinforcement to make what looks like a fighting machine.
Hyundai isn’t the first to make a super-strength suit. Lockheed Martin has been in the game since 2014 and even some homemade versions done in people’s basements.
We suggest waiting for the legit versions to come out before strapping on a suit made with old car parts in your hick neighbor’s basement. How long do you think it’s going to take before this is used for the wrong reason? It’s pretty awesome when science copies our favorite science fiction movies and ideas. Just waiting for the light saber now.
