Here in Kingston, you may have had the Bell people digging up your front lawn as they look to install their new Fibe service across the city. For the most part, the process is a minor inconvenience. Up in Toronto they are doing the same thing – but for one woman…it was more than a minor inconvenience.
This woman was shocked to arrive home to find a massive hole in her front lawn and her water shut off this winter. The culprit? Routine maintenance carried out by Bell that was approved by the city but wound up breaking a water pipe. So guess who got stuck with the bill? Yup…the poor lady.
Even though I have no idea who this woman is, I am probably just as upset as she is! This was the result of work being done on her property that she did not ask for. What do you think? Read more about it all here:
