When I’m on a roller coaster or something that I would describe as intense – I feel that I should be allowed to let out a scream or something. Heck, I’m about to drop almost straight down from 500 feet – there’s bound to be a little freaking out or excitement.
Across the pond in jolly old England, there’s an amusement park that has banned people from screaming on their new roller coaster.
The Big One is 1,300 feet long and features a 40-foot drop – which would be enough to have people lose their minds. Soooo…The theme park has installed noise absorbers in order to blunt screams, in the event that people just can’t help themselves.
Management banned screaming because they don’t want to upset nearby residents. Screamers run the risk of being banned from the park. I say you scream at the ticket counter…and at the concession…and in the parking lot…
