Running shoes. Sneakers. Kicks. Whatever you want to call them, they all serve the same purpose – to protect your feet. If you’re like most people, your runners often get wet, dirty, scraped, torn, ripped, etc. Let’s face it, our shoes face a lot of abuse.
It is because of this that the idea of spending a truckload of cash on a pair of shoes seems insane. Sure, one or two hundred bucks for a sneaker is often needed to ensure that you get yourself a solid shoe that’ll last – but even that’s pushing it for me.
But, as with anything in this world, there’s a market for those that want to spend more – and now they can….A LOT more. Introducing the world’s most expensive running shoes – with a price tag of $4 MILLION dollars!!
I’ve known people that have freaked out if a little dirt gets on their new white shoes – but can you imagine how you would react if you got THESE ones dirty? What if you’re going for a run and one of those diamonds fly off into the street. That would be like losing $100,000 or something!
Something is truly wrong with the world when you need armed guards to watch over you because of your shoes.
