If you’re single and ready to mingle – your options aren’t looking so good. Assuming you’re looking for someone that is between the ages of 18-40, doesn’t live with their parents, has at least a college education and doesn’t live in group housing.
Now, if those things are NOT on your list – well then you’re sitting pretty. You’ll have the pick of the litter. If, however, those things ARE important….you may doing the whole ‘netflix and chill’ thing solo.
Based on the criteria above, all the single people that are worthy of your dating dollars amount to a whopping 2.7%. That’s right, less than 3% of those in the market are worth your time. So the question is, do you lower your standards and go after that jobless individual that’s living in their parents basement – or do you wait it out – hoping that one of the 3% looks your way.
